This bike was built for Chris Carr of Atlanta, Georgia. He started with a bone stock 1981 Kawasaki KZ550 chassis and sent it off to FC. FC modified and reinforced the frame in many high-stressed areas. We fit late model Kawasaki 600 front forks and an earlier alloy swing-arm. We had to modify the swing-arm to gain the proper shock fit and wheel base. This KZ rolls on super-trick 17" Dymag wheels and stops with Brembo's best coupled to Race Tech suspension. The engine was built by Chris's friend in Atlanta and sounds great with the Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust fitted by FC. FC's billet triple trees are also fitted utilizing special off-set handlebar risers and an Ohlins steering damper. FC fabricated the rear sets, control linkage and a handful of other bits and pieces including all brake caliper adapters. This bike is racing in the AHRMA Superbike Middle Weight class for 2010
